About Tyler

Tyler Haché is a singer-songwriter from Berry Mills, New Brunswick. His debut album, Silent (2015), reached #7 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart and was awarded the Music/Musique NB “Solo Recording of the Year.” In 2016, Haché had an original song placed in Magnolia’s Dollhouse, a short film that played at Festival de Cannes, and was the “CBC Searchlight Regional Champion.” Tyler has been fortunate enough to have opened for artists such as Hey Rosetta!, Leif Vollebekk, and David Myles, to name a few.

In 2017, Haché took a break from performing live to focus on his writing and academics. While studying English at Mount Allison University, Tyler began travelling to Nashville every four months where he has collaborated with bands such as Hootie & the Blow Fish and other established musicians. Tyler continues to work with Nashville producer Andrew Petroff in preparation for the release of a new project.

Haché was awarded the “2018 Hazel Steeves Prize in Creative Writing.” His poetry has been published in The Nashwaak Review, Atlantic International Studies Journal, Atlantic Canadian Poets’ Archive, and elsewhere. Having now graduated from Mount Allison University with a Bachelor of Arts (English Honours), Tyler is pursuing a Master’s of Arts in the Field of Creative Writing at the University of Toronto.
